Commissioned by: Weinzierl Lager- und Fördertechnik
Capacity: 980 m3, 6 bins
The customer, an agricultural cooperation in the German federal state of Bavaria, saw its sales increasing steadily for a long time. Anticipating further growth, it became clear that the production facility needed an upgrade. Both the storage- and the production capacity needed to be increased.
We were challenged to build a square silo building that seamlessly integrated with the existing silobuilding. It required a silo construction and adjacent steel structure constructed with accuracy on the millimeter, so we gladly took on this challenge. The six smooth wall square bins ensure a proper flow for all types of grains to be processed. Furthermore, a machine tower for facilitating the cleaning of the grains was supplied, as well as a large truck intake hall for the raw materials. The large round silos were supplied by Weinzierl. Together with the facade cladding we supplied, it literally resulted in a perfect fit.
