‘Getreidesammelstelle und Futtermühle Thalheim’, in short G.S.S, has allocated an unique project to Wirtech. TSC has received an order to supply square silos in the North of Switzerland. The silo, consisting of 12 bins of each 100 m3, has been built on top of a train platform. By building square these special conditions enable G.S.S. to easily load the grain in the trains directly from the 12 different bins. Could it be more efficient?
The project for G.S.S. was a bit unusual but that made it a nice challange for us. The construction is built over the train tracks. The large cells had the outload on one side of the bins. This in order to load the trains directly from the silo into the bulk wagon. Many elements that we hade to take into account in the design and during assembly. At the end it is great to see that the flexibility of our silosystem is a huge added value and the end user is very satisfied with the result.
Procedure The regulations of the industry, the properties of the material, the geographical conditions of the construction site, the weather conditions in the region… we leave nothing to chance. We therefore work according to the TSC roadmap. This way, we work efficiently and do not overlook any detail. A solid approach for a solid result.Questions? Contact us
