The Dutch inland port facility DOK will considerably extend its square storage silo capacity. DOK focuses heavily on the transhipment of raw materials for animal feed.

The Deventer based DOK facility is strategically located close to water- and highways. Product inflow is mainly done by inland shipping, outflow by trucks. DOK can handle barges up to 2.000 ton. The ships often come from Amsterdam or Rotterdam, as well as from Germany and other European countries.

The silo extension is sized over 3.000m3 and for flexibility reasons it consists of 32 bins. The silo is designed as a bulk loading street, the raw materials can be distributed quickly by truck among (mainly) feed mills in the Netherlands.
