Square silos are used for efficient storage in various industries.

TSC Silos is a leading supplier of square silos for efficient storage solutions across a range of industries. For over 25 years, TSC Silos has been supplying square silos for the storage of dry bulk goods worldwide. The number of industries using these efficient silos is constantly growing. TSC originally operated in the animal feed sector, but many other markets quickly followed. TSC now supplies silos to the coffee industry, breweries, malt houses, the flour and meal industry, pet food manufacturers, and the chemical and recycling sectors.

In an age where efficiency and sustainability are becoming increasingly important, people are taking a closer look at how dry bulk goods are stored, whether in large or small quantities. Available space is becoming scarcer, and land is expensive. Internal processes are also being organised more efficiently, with automation playing a key role. Square silos fit perfectly into this development. They are efficient, tailor-made and fully integrable into both the process and the building. This time-lapse shows how the building and silos form a single entity. The entire process in this factory is automated.

Development and innovation

TSC has continued to innovate and expand the range of industries in which it operates. The walls and hoppers are manufactured to such a high standard that even difficult flowing products intended for human consumption can be stored in steel square silos. These include flour and other types of meal, as well as protein powders. Furthermore, the development of the patented ‘Bolt’ system has expanded the possibilities even further. This patented system is unique because it can be installed without welding on site. By eliminating the need for welding on site, installation can take place while the factory continues to operate.

Another addition to TSC’s portfolio is the general industry and chemicals sector, including recycling and biofuels. These are markets that have grown significantly in recent years. The number of locations involved in recycling raw materials has increased, as has development, professionalisation and efficiency. As a result of this growth, these industries are also looking for the most efficient storage methods for raw materials, by-products, and end products.
