Grain is often transported by vessel or truck. But how about other tracks? A railroad track for example. Well, the Swiss take advantage of this efficient method of transport.
TSC recently received an order for a unique silo at a grain collection center in the north of Switzerland. This silo, with over 1.200m3 capacity, will be erected on top of a concrete platform. The train wagons will be loaded directly from the silo at 12 different positions. Right after, the grain will hit railroad towards its new destination.
